Flag Day Ceremony Held

On Tuesday June 14, 2016 the Shenandoah Elks Lodge #1122 conducted their Flag Day ceremony with the assistance of 6 members of the Boy Scouts!

There was a crowd of 55 in attendance as Ed Bonefas recited the history of the Flags, that have represented the United States right up to present day.

Those that attended appreciated the history lesson as well as the commitment of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks to celebrate our national ensign!

The Elks Lodge served up hamburgers and chips to those that attended and all enjoyed the fellowship following the ceremony.
