It’s back to school season! Now that school busses are back on the streets and kids are back in the classroom, there is no better time to apply for the Legacy Awards to Lodge members. Click here to watch a short film about Legacy Awards recipient Anji Radakrishnan and her father, Balaji. They’ll share how a spelling bee turned into a lifelong relationship with the Elks.
The 2016 Legacy Awards application is online now, and is open to high school seniors who are the children or grandchildren of dues-paying Elks members.
The ENF scholarship packet was mailed in mid-August. Please check with your Lodge Secretary to ensure you receive these important materials.
Members and Guests ATTENTION!!! Our new Activities Committee led by Doug Meyer has been busy! They have scheduled Home game Tailgating Parties starting on September 18th. We are planning on serving wings, mozzarella sticks, chips, salsa & queso dip. The party starts at 5:00pm and will serve till 7:00pm. Then following the game, you are invited back to celebrate a Mustang Victory and enjoy the fellowship with other Members and Guests.
Watch the marque out in front of the Lodge for information on this and other events!
SEE YOU THERE!!!
As a side note plans are in the works for a Lodge sponsored Halloween Costume Party in October!!! Stay tuned and dust off your brooms and Freddy Krueger nails! Again this activity will be for Members and Guests!
